I’ve been coming here since they opened in 2018 (or 2019?), and whenever I go to the Hangar, I always get Tastea. However, I think this was my last time. They got rid of my favorite drink, the House Coffee, and today, when I ordered the Vietnamese Coffee, they charged me an extra $1.25 for less ice, not even no ice. I wish there were more transparency about the additional charge. It would make more sense to charge $1 extra for no ice, but charging $1.25 for less ice feels excessive. I felt bad because the cashier seemed like they didn’t want to charge me after seeing how shocked I was, but I understand that they could get in trouble if they didn’t. Additionally there was still a good amount of ice for being charged that much for LESS ICE. The company needs to be more transparent about this policy on the signage displayed throughout its stores. I know it says subject to additional charge but they need to put the actual price. I only gave it 2 stars because I liked the milk teas in the past.

Tastea is always a great choice when you want quality drinks and quick snacks. Their smoothies are delicious, but their milk teas are the real standout — especially the seasonal oolong flavor, which are easily some of the best. They also have tasty snacks like chicken nuggets and seasoned fries that are perfect if you need something filling on the go. Great drinks, good food, and consistently solid service every time.

Not what I was expecting... Vietnamese coffee was ok but the price was very expensive. A 24oz cup is $5.80 with a full cup of ice in it, water down coffee..., but if you want just coffee an no ice, it's $3.00 more!!! Not worth it ! ! ! 😑

I finally made it to Tastea! With the line outside the door, my expectations were high. I went with my usual Thai iced tea with boba. I mean, it was ok, nothing spectacular, nothing that made me say, “wow, that’s good.” They do not have any seating available, it's more like an order-and-go situation. Expect to wait outside due to the limited amount of customers allowed at a time. Parking can be a bit frustrating since there are many shops and restaurants throughout the plaza. But just be patient, and you’ll find a spot. Overall, for me, Tastea is your basic boba spot offering an array of drinks with a few small bites. There is something for everyone, and you should give it a go. They are opening a drive-thru in Torrance (soon, I hope), and I might give it another try when that one opens.

Tastea has a great selection of unique special teas that I highly recommend trying. One cool difference compared to the competition is that Tastea offers larger sized drinks (32oz) and jugs of their delicious teas. They also serve food that pairs well with the drinks that look really exciting to try!
